I'd recommend to not invest into single REITs but into REIT ETFs.
For Singapore my choice would be (and is) : Lion-Phillip S-REIT ETF
For U.S. my choice woud be (and is): VNQ

You may consider
Roboadvisors like Stashaway or Syfe which have income-fcoused portfolios which have components in REITs/REITs ETFs.
Regular Savings Plans like DBS Invest-Saver or OCBC Blue Chip Investment Plan which can do monthly investment into some REITs/REITs ETFs

Roboadvisors and RSPs may have a lower entry cost depending on your planned investment amount. DIY affords more flexibility.
If you intend to look at overseas listed REITs, do note that there withholding tax for dividends/distributions.
