Hey Anon! I am looking at both the spots too! I would say to go for Tengah if you are looking for term stay. Reason for Tengah is because it's a new estate, that means there's a lot of new amenities, environment, and people to interact with. Most importantly, the pricing is fair and affordable. My partner and I decided to go with Tengah because it's affordable and we can use the 'leftover' cash for our renovation, wedding, new born fees, and many more.

Bishan location is off the central and you will need to take transport to the main area. It's good for buy and sell in 5 years time because it is Bishan. However, the pricing is ridiculous expensive as compared to the other areas. With the extra 70-80k, you can have the same house and nicely renovated home for the rest of your life.

TLDR; If you can afford to pay more and wish to stay in mature estate, choose Bishan. If you prefer new environment, choose Tengah and have extra cash for all the newly wed stuffs!
