Hi. i do not mind a basic ward in public hospital. is my medishield life sufficient. do i need upgrade?

Usually Medishield Life cover is good enough if you need a basic ward (Quote: B2/C-type wards in public hospitals and will cover a certain portion of your bill). For some condition/cases, it does not cover the full bill, but the rest can be covered by Medisave. Need to ensure Medisave balance have enough.

In singapore, it is recommended to get a Integrated plan on top of medishield. Of course, if you are ok with the public basic wards, you can go for the cheapest plan available. At least it comes with a higher claim limit per annum.
