Hi, I am currently 40+..I have around 30k spare cash for investment. what are the best option available for high returns for the next 10 years ?

If you are willing to put in the hard work to analyse businesses, DIY is the best and you would be able to see your money grow in tandem with the best companies in 10 years.

If not willing, you can go for ETFs but returns may not be as high as putting your money with conviction in the best companies.

For me I have made about $13k+ in stock investments with a capital of $30k+ during the march dip. When it comes to lump sum investing, timing is very important. However it is difficult to time the market in current economic uncertainty. Thus I advise that you sit down and review your options and risk appetite carefully.

30k with 40+ really is not much.
