Hi guys, I have been investing in DBS rsp etf only for a few years and I would like to expand my portfolio now that my finances are much stable. What type of investment would you recommend?

I have read up on articles but I’m very confused by the variety of it. I would say I’m going for low-mid risk level of investment. Should I be starting with tiger brokers or syfe or ??? I’m very lost can someone give me some advice please or articles I can read up on to have a better idea on my choices?

Hmm, let's start from the top, investing in ETFs via DBS RSP, is not low-mid risk. Full-equity porfolios are at best mid-high risk. But that aside, if you're looking to expand your portfolio in an investment of a similar risk profile, perhaps consider a roboadvisor such as Syfe or Endowus which would give you some global exposure at a reasonable cost. If you want to minise your risk, both of these roboadvisors have options for lower risk portfolios, with inclusion of bonds, gold or even properties in the portfolio to suit your needs.

You are also right that trading is a completely different activity and would require different skill sets. Also, I know crypto looks lucrative now, but if you're looking for low-mid risk, really crypto is not the place to be. BTC dumped 10+% in a single day just because Elon Musk tweeted something yesterday. ETH fell a similar amount too.

Also, trading is a a whole new different game right? Should I be doing crypto?
