There are many self help books recommended via NLB app, however after going through a few, felt some are quite theory and slightly cliche. Hence wanted to know if there are any books that impacted you personally, and changed the way you look at things, how to maintain positive thinking, dont dread work etc etc. thank you for all recommendations.

Just off the top of my head, thought of two books that impacted me when i read them years back:
1. How to be Single and Happy (by Jenny Taitz) - the book title sounds like itβs for singles (and i guess geared more towards single ladies), but honestly I thought it was one of the best books i read on finding contentment and joy in whatever life stage one is at. Jenny Taitz is a clinical psychologist by training and i thought she brought across psychological principles clearly with sufficient depth; and touched on sensitive topics in a very respectful, heartfelt and thoughtful manner ( can check out goodreads for reviews https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35017159)
