To add on to YJ's comment, ILPs usually invest in their own mutual funds which requires you to pay way higher fees for active management compared to a passive low cost index fund. Furthermore, it has been proven that very low percentages of these funds manage to beat the broad market with the high fees included.

  • You will be good on your own. Provided you are buying a board- based, passively managed, low cost index ETF and not to engage in speculative stuff.
  • Also continue to DCA monthly, no matter what.
