We been through the similar situation in year 2024. After hearing from some friends (they bought & irrc one of them utilised it so "highly raving" about it), we realised the concerns we have are not covered by this type of insurance. On top of that, the prenantal checks were all alright, so in the end we didnt go ahead. Main reason was this maternity insurance is highly tied to ILP (not sure if it has since changed).
If I were to go ahead, the intent was also to stop paying when the baby come out healthy & normal, & thereafter able to get normal standard insurance.
