Signed up for HeyMax a few weeks back mostly because a friend wouldn't stop talking about it, and honestly the 200 free miles alone made it worth the five minutes it took.
Quick context if you haven't heard of it: HeyMax is a miles app that sits on top of whatever credit card you already use. You shop through it (or buy vouchers), and you earn Max Miles in addition to your normal card rewards — nothing gets swapped out.
The bonus: new users get 200 Max Miles after completing one qualifying purchase.
Referral code: 0A24D2EE — or just use the link, it pre-fills the code: https://heymax.go.link/jIq00?adj_label=0A24D2EE
What I actually did:
Took about a week after the voucher purchase confirmed for the 200 miles to actually land in my account — HeyMax says it can be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the merchant.
Things that could cost you the bonus:
One thing worth knowing before you redeem: Max Miles don't expire as long as your account stays active, and they cash out at a floor of 1.8 cents each via FlyAnywhere (only for cash-purchased flights, not award tickets) — so there's no rush to use them immediately.
This isn't a bank product, just a rewards layer, so don't read too much into it beyond "extra miles for spend I was doing anyway."
Grabbed the exact current terms from DLCuration's HeyMax page before posting since promo details shift over time: https://dlcuration.com/heymax-referral-code.html
Not financial advice, just sharing what worked for me.
