Credit Cards

Hello! May I check if I am not keen on dbs womens card because of short expiry, is HSBC revolution a good substitute? I saw that it earns 4mpd for online shopping too.

Also, if a shop is XXXX mcc for the physical store, does it mean online purchase at this brand will also have the same MCC? (Eg harvey norman, lovebonito, etc) thanks!!!

I usually use Citi Rewards for online shopping, which provides 4mpd up to $1k/month and has multiple transfer partners beyond SQ and Asia Miles.

To optimise your credit card strategy for other spends beyond online, I have been working on a site that helps you check out additional suggestions or verify that the cards you have indeed maximise your rewards. Would be very thankful if you took the time to check it out (https://bit.ly/nuovisoldi) and share your thoughts. Thanks!

Can consider these cards (4MPD with longer expiry dates if applicable).

  1. Citi Rewards
  2. UOB Preferred Platinum Visa
  3. HSBC Revolution (Lifetime Annual Fee Waiver by default)
  4. UOB Lady's card (basic and premium versions)

If you still prefer miles that don't expire but much much lower earn rates (1.2 ~ 2.1 miles (overseas spending), can see the following options :

  1. Citi PremierMiles (most airline partners)
  2. DBS Altitude (SIA airline focused with Agoda travel perks)
  3. UOB PrivMiles (not too sure for this card)

Can check on _MileLion (www.milelion.com) _on his articles for this topic.
