Has anyone here intentionally avoided upgrading to a condo despite being able to afford one? What was your reasoning?

Hmm, I ain't interested in an inflated lifestyle and bto can satisfy the needs of a home. Plus it is mt forever home so I am not flipping property. So maybe someone can tell me why get condo instead of hdb??? I am quite curious of reasons beyond property-flipping.

Personally, I'd rather stay in a HDB and invest the extra money since I don't think I'd use the cond...
