GXS Credit Card just launched. Is 1.75% uncapped cashback actually better than tiered cards like UOB One?

GXS just launched their first credit card on 17 Aug (Visa, with Grab and Singtel). The headline is 1.75% cashback on local spend with no cap, but there's a S$500 minimum spend per billing cycle. You can also get up to 10% cashback in GrabCoins on Grab spends, and Singtel/GOMO bill rebates via FlexiCard.

Curious what people think. Does uncapped 1.75% actually beat the tiered 5-10% cards once you factor in the S$500 min spend? Anyone applied yet? How's the GXS app experience for card management?

Fair enough, trust in a new issuer is a big factor. Have you had any bad experience with them so far, or is it more the uncertainty of a fresh player?

That is a fair take. The $500 minimum is the real gatekeeper, but once you clear it the uncapped part is what makes it interesting. Do you find the tiered cards worth the extra tracking?

If you can hit the $500 spend, 1.75% uncapped is not bad, but 5–10% cards still better if you can me...
