Grab value add to customers has dropped significantly !

I realized there is not only increased platform fee, but also additional driver fee. I havent used Grab service for a period of time and is totally doable. time for me to delete grab app.

Absolutely agree with you. I stopped using grab in SG now, especially their grabpay usage is so limited. Even comfort ZIG is implementing platform fee for usage. I deleted ZIG app and use sms/call to book ride if need to. I still keep grab app for use in malaysia/jb as cost of grab ride is more affordable there and is more convenient. In sg where transport is so well connected and so many food centres and places everywhere, grab ride and grab food are not necessary.

I have given up using much grab ever since they slashed rewards and after AMEX cards stopped giving rewards when topping up grab wallets. My platinum membership tier is set to expire at the end of June 2023 and it is okay. This is part of all companies' behaviours as they become more mature. When shopee/Qoo10/Lazada started out, their discounts were much better than nowadays too. There will be new apps dangling discounts again to capture market share. There's no need to delete the grab app, you can still use their services to call rides as it is sometimes cheaper than GoJek/Tada/ZIG. Also, I often see Grabride/Grabfood vouchers being given out as rewards so when you get some, can still spend it on the Grab app.

Grab food is so overpriced. Even transport. I use Tada/Gojek more. Might also delete grab app...
