Borderline high cholesterol is not a disease or condition. Cholesterol is just a marker which can fluctuate with diet and lifestyle. It is the combination of lifestyle factors, family history, BP, cholesterol, DM risk, etc. that forms the risk level of future heart disease.

Some health screening provide comprehensive assessment outcome by calculating your framingham risk score of heart disease and CV risk, which i think is more useful indicator for using as baseline to declare for insurance.

But if you are concern, you can check with a trusted and reliable insurance agent/company.

Talk to your agent. generally no need but good to check.

Need to declare. If never declare, they will invalid your insurance when they found out later. Ofc you can check with your agent to see if got anyway to mitigate it.

Hi!

It'd be best for you to fully declared it honestly.

Anw lmk should you have more qns to clarify with!
