Giving angbao money

How much should we give to our parent as a fresh grad? Can number contain odd number such as '3', '5','7' or '9'

No odd number. $8 sounds auspicious if you don't have much income yet

I think the auspicious even numbers are 2, 6, 8. And the auspicious odd numbers are 1 and 9. So play around with those to form a even number you are comfortable with. I think it's the thought that counts to a certain extent too. Give auspicious number every month haha.
