For those who been to Japan do you choose Portable wifi or sim card . I know Esim is good but my phone still cannot support it unfortunately back in 2019 I used the portable wifi from Yogofi .

Sim card for me. i feel i need to carry more things with portable wifi

Sim card. From my experience, portable wifi's network coverage is not as good as SIM card.
