For the POSB Everyday card, my father applied for a supplementary card for me when I was younger. I want to apply for my own card to be independent but my father doesn't want to cancel my supplementary card- is it possible for me to cancel it on my end or to just go ahead and apply for a main card?
Asking here as I've had no luck reaching a customer service officer. TIA!

Hi Anon,
I believe you can. The supplementary card you own, while under your name in the card, is ultimately under your father's account and not yours. So you should still be able to apply for your own Everyday card.

Yes, you can apply for a card under your own name without any issues, as long as you meet the requirements set out by DBS.
Am speaking from experience; similarly have a supplementary card under my parent's name but have managed to apply and obtain my own Everyday card.
