For parents, do you plan to let your kids pay off their own university fees or do you pay it off for them?

On one hand, it would be good for them to learn the value of money, and to work to pay off for their own education. On the other hand, we all want our kids to live an easier lives. What are parents on the Seedly community doing right now?

I intend to save $40k for each child's college fund. That's it. If he wants to go overseas, then good luck to him. he needs to top up the remaining money himself

I didn't have to pay for my own school fees to "learn the value of money". I learnt it by working part-time and suffering a bit to earn peanuts.

As long as my children do not take things for granted, I'm willing to pay off local public (cheaper) uni fees for them.

Pay for them first then get them to pay me back after they graduate...
