For CPF top-up, is there any difference of interest earned in the SA/MA when I top-up on the last day of the calendar month, rather than first day of the month?

Doesn't matter. Interest earned for a particular month is based on your lowest account accrued. So if my initial amount is $100k n I top up $3k, my interest earned for that month is still based on $100k n not $103k

For instance, contributions (including refunds) received this month start earning interest next month. Withdrawals/deductions in this month will not earn interest from this month onwards.
