In current interest rate climate, shld we go for bank or hdb loan? I also understand the idea of some who recommended taking HDB and switch to Bank loan. Also, don't intend to sell the resale flat?

My fiance and I are intending to purchase a resale flat. We are unsure if a bank loan or HDB loan would be more suitable? Any advice and other things we should take note of?

What specifics to look out for when buying a resales HDB? I am looking for a place in mature area to stay and the flats are in general old and costly. I do want to sell it for a profit?

If i have more than 50% for downpayment in my cpf ordinary account to buy a resale flat, do i still need to fork out another 5% cash if i take a bank loan?
