Exit interview

Hi, I am planning to resign due to toxic superior. There will be an exit interview for it. I am not sure if I want to tell my boss about it due to the fear of retribution from superior. Few of my colleagues resigned due to same reason but didn't say anything about it. I am torn between saying it to let the boss know and protect the rest of the colleagues and protecting myself during the 1 month notice period

  • Best is not to leave behind any black and white of negative thoughts / feelings (e.g. thru exit interview) - think also abt who reads the exit interviews too.
  • If you really want to feedback and hope something can be done to help your other colleagues who is staying - then ask your boss out for coffee outside the office - casual talk and speak your mind - it depends on how the one you feedback views you / supervisor and your relationship w him/her too.
  • Anyway, don't worry so much since you are leaving the company. And PS - likely since so many ppl resigned - probably the reason has already been known to the boss (a good boss will dig up the real issue too) - you say or dun say may / may not change anything.

Hope this helps.

  • Just do what you want?

  • Once you throw letter, no need to scare of ur superior anymore, u & him equal level liao. He cant decide ur bonus & promotion , so why still fear him?

  • u wont see him again ma, unless u plan to return to the company?
