Eva Air miles

I have about 10k worth of EVA Air miles that are due to expire in coming August. Seeing that travelling is not possible at the moment, nor can I do any actual redemption from its award programs, are there any other ways that I can extend the mileage expiry or I suppose I have to let all the accumulated miles to expire for good?

Eva Air had a new release about extension of miles on 23 Nov 2020:

Eva Air on Miles Extension

The news only covered miles expiry up till this month. You probably want to write to them to enquire about any extension of your miles.
