“Enough” An excerpt from The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel

Sometimes the uncertainity is how much is enough.

For me, 'enough' is when I have enough from passive income to sustain my daily living expenses.

Another component of 'enough' is when I have done a fair level of preparation for the rainy days - eg insurance, etc

​

Aside from that, nobody knows what 'enough' could be. 1 big health disaster could shift a previous enough to not enough.

To put it into context, what I'd saved could only be enough for 3 more nights in hospital. What is the point of slogging endlessly just in case I need to buy myself another 2 nights in hospital. I would rather not be resuscitated.

It is down to personal sense of where the balance is.
