Time of this answer - Elon Musk is the second richest, overtaking Bill Gates.
I am a long-term Tesla holder, been with the man himself since 2019 ($250 pre-split). Been adding positions ever since whenever it dips or when it is trending sideways (low volatility). I would say that, there is no specific time when you should buy Tesla. Everyday is a good opportunity to buy into the company if you are in for the long-run. Marginal gains however, would require some luck and predictions of the price in the short-run, whether if it will retrace or not.
I have answered some questions posted by some of our fellow community members of Seedly regarding Tesla. You can look up in my profile if you are interested in some of the theses.
Honestly, nothing much has changed fundamentally for Tesla. I believe the recent run-up in stock price is mainly due to its S&P500 inclusion, as well as Biden winning the elections, boosting green companies (Renewables/EV). Some Wall St. Analyst also altered their sentiments on Tesla, giving it higher price target and overweight ratings. Certainly a great month for the company, but I am more excited for the fruition of their plans (FSD, Battery Plant, Giga Texas/Berlin, etc.) that they have been executing thus far.
