Does the Citibank interestPlus savings account bring about a lot more interest as compared to other banks?

I would say most savings accounts would have roughly the same amount of interest but for this savings account, they have a 2.5% interest per anum which is quite high. Other cards are usually about 0.5-1.8%.. so I would say it does bring about the purpose of its higher interest because the minimum spending to qualify for bonus interest is not very high. however, other than that, there is nothing much in particular you can benefit from using this savings plan.
