Does registering a pte ltd / sole proprietor and putting yourself as the Director makes you "self-employed"?

I have some questions about being self-employed... not exactly personal finance but hope to seek your view here as covid had changed many jobs!

Yes. You have to top up medisave every year complusory for self-employed. They will send you a letter and ask you to top up accordingly.

Even you have a FT job, they will still ask you top up.🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
