Does not want to climb the corporate ladder

Hi all, may I know if it is weird or wrong for not wanting to climb the corporate ladder? I am not intending to climb the ladder as I could like to have a work-life balance. The job is only a way for me to earn money to fund my interests and passion like attending concerts and traveling. But of course I have make plans for future and retirement instead of spending everything.

The top and bottom of the ladder usually has the most balance. Nothing is wrong not wanting to climb it. Just have no regrets

Does it matter if people tell you you're weird or wrong?

You are responsible for your decisions in life. If you are happy the way you are, and it doesn't hurt anyone else, why does it matter what other people think?

There is nothing wrong to want to climb the corporate ladder, some people are happy to aim for high grounds. There is nothing wrong in not wanting to join that game too.

Do what your heart desires.
