Impress people by being polite, considerate and smiling.
Is true that Good Looking be it guy or girl does have an Advantage in "First Good Impression"
If you look plain and normal, then show your Strong Points rather then your Weak points to gain the recognition.
Know what the person you are facing wants and give it to them.

Yes, especially if you are in sales. A pretty or handsome face makes a difference how people views you positively or negatively. That is why we have the phrase : never judge a book by its cover. But the fact is people judge simply based on looks and come with up their own conclusions.
