Does anyone have a favourite stock right now they are swing or day trading and why? I've been jumping in and out of Tesla myself. Wondering if anyone else on Seedly is doing anything similar?

I swing trade but don’t hold fast to that philosophy if the fundamentals of a stock are good. For e.g if BABA dips below my stop loss threshold, I’m willing to close one eye. I practice a strict 10% profit taking and that has kept my annualised returns to 20%.

I think what’s fun with Swing trading is when your hypothesis is proven right. I don’t track technicals, but I observe market trends. I took positions in Nikola and Xpev based on the observations that Americans are EV crazy. Sadly I took profit at 10%, but now XPEV is up 150%. FML.

My other best bet was AMD. Took position at $11 when they were the underdogs based on the fact that it’s unlikely Intel would have a monopoly. Glad that theory panned out.
