Do you've any hacks when booking staycations?

There are definitely a lot of promos for staycations. I believe Trip runs promotions every weekend, HSBC has additional discounts with Agoda (unique link), and Citi PM has bonus miles with Agoda (unique link). But note that the Agoda unique links sometimes list prices that are at a higher price than normal, so your "discount" or "promo" may not really be much of an offer anymore.

TBH, I think the best hack I have is when you're looking at staycations, you should browse in a private browser (incognito mode). I spent hours looking for the cheapest rates for a staycation in May and I even waited for a specific time for promotions to be running. But a quick search in incognito led me to find a rate that was even lower than this and there wasn't even any special promotion ongoing. I'll definitely be doing this everytime I'm looking to book a staycation in the future!
