Do you think there would be any IPOs happening in 2020 giving the bad valuation of the STI in Singapore?

Do you think it's feasible for any IPOs to be successfully launched in the current market climate?

It's quite unlikely. I recall there were lesser than 50 IPOs world wide in Q1 2009 (which was the bottom of the last crisis)

    To quote Singapore IPOs

"Good and profitable companies with strong cashflow will not want to list during such a period where valuations are extremely low since they are not in urgent need of cash and the owners are unwilling to "sell" their companies are lousy prices. Poor and loss-making companies in urgent need of capital for expansion will find it tough to list under such market conditions as no underwriters will be willing to help them list the companies. As a result, hardly any companies list during this period."

There will be an uptick of IPOs once the markets start to recover. Till then, hold on to your cash.
