Hi Alissa,

Indeed, most that work in the financial sector tend to be males. A common stereotype is that males are more suited for the finance sector. However, as time has changed, this stereotype is being increasingly challenged. There is nothing stopping women to be working in the personal finance space. Gender does not need to dictate someone’s role, it is more or less your capability to do it well.

However, there has been an increase in recognition for women entrepreneurs and I am glad to be in an era where women can step up to be leaders. We are starting to see more females entering the tech world. When I first entered the industry, there were few females in the tech space. Today, we are seeing more successful female founders in the ecosystem, which is great to see as it means there is a stronger support system for aspiring female entrepreneurs.

With the increase of females in the industry, I am confident that we will continue to see more progress being made in this area.
