10 years? Not sure, it could be longer. US$ is unlimited, given time it will weaken.

Go back to gold standard? Who to determine gold price? Most likely not.

2 potential scenarios:
1) Using IMF SDR
2) A crypto currency manage by government

10 years later,

Would US companies still be the most valuable companies?

Would people/companies be happy to hold & transact in USD by a huge stash instead of rmb, euro, pound, jpy?

Would US military still be the most technological advanced?

Would US continue to be the most dynamic country, attracting the best talents of the world to innovate and be entreprenial?

If yes to all, then yes to USD
