Do you think Singapore is ready to be a 100% cashless society? Personally, I still use a mixture of cash and cashless payments but think it will take more than 5 years before becoming fully cashless?

But then again COVID-19 made me realised how quickly we can change and adapt if we are forced to or when it's made compulsory.

Not ready to be 100% yet, but it's getting more and more. For now, still encounter problems when trying to use at some places.

No, we're definitely not ready and I think we shouldn't go 100% cashless before we do these things well:

  1. Ensure that our elders know how all the digital apps work and can protect themselves from frauds etc.

  2. Ensure that our lower income groups or PWDs have knowledge and access to the cashless payment methods
