Do you think it's worth it to subscribe to online news sites such as Forbes, Bloomberg, Financial Times, WSJ? Or even The Straits Times in order to read premium articles?

I would think that some of the premium pieces and opinion pieces are worth the money?

Hey Anon! I think its worth subscribing to at least one online news site to stay updated with what's going on in the world and just to expand your knowledge with the various articles and opinion articles. However, be mindful that some new sites such as Bloomberg do charge quite a bit so take some time to think about it before spending on the subscription! Personally, I read from Bloomberg (using the student account) CNBC (free) and New York Times.

Mm Straits Times and some other foreign newspapers are available for free online via NLB if you are a member. So there's no need to subscribe per se; just log in to browse.
