Pay wise for the traineeship would be the same, still $2.5k. And it might be prolonged, e.g. at Traineeship A for 9 months then jump to Traineeship B for 1 year, and in turn suffer a pay loss for late conversion. But the pros would include greater exposure and lesser notice period, lesser 'backlash' on resume for jumping since it's a traineeship. What are your thoughts on this?

Traineeships are entry-level. It's more advisable to specialise (promoted beyond traineeship) and take on more responsibilities. Otherwise, you may get stuck at entry-level for too long.
