The UOB ONE Card is removing the extra rebates from Grabpay from Mar 16 onwards, continuing the trend of Banks removing Grabpay from their rewards programs. AXS also rejects Grabpay now, do you think all these measures will cause Grabpay to lose traction? Their Grabpay MasterCard increases liquidity, but the recent devaluation of their rewards further decentivises people from paying through Grabpay. Do you see the use of grab decreasing, or is it too ingrained in our lives already?

I have met people who can’t live without grab services, so the nerf rebates doesn’t affect them. But there are many who are also discipline enough to stop using.
The use of grab will not decrease but the use of grabpay might.
However, some merchants only accept cash , nets and grabpay. In that case, grabpay still prevails.
