Withour prior work experience why should the company pays you $10K.

If she/he can get one (starting pay at $10K) that's fantastic. I will need to change my profession. I have a master degree and 20 years of working exp- and just earning 10K

I think it really depends on the industry and role. With rising salaries, it would not be that hard to get such salaries especially in the fields of tech/finance.
