I enjoy the memos of Howard Marks, an investor who specializes in distressed debt. I love it because his views are multi-asset in nature and he manages to distill his thoughts in a very reader-friendly way.

Closer to home, I do consider one of my ex-colleagues as a role model. His depth of knowledge far surpasses mine, as he reads extremely widely. As a result, his investment views tend to be very well thought out with lots of depth, very much resonating with the data-driven approach that I aim to cultivate in The InvestQuest.
