I have just started in RSP on the Nikko AM STI ETF. I was wondering if dividends are paid out for such a holding? And if there is, where is the source of the dividend? Are they from the funds themselves or the aggregated dividends across the companies that STI ETF is tracking?
Thanks in advance for answering!

Yes, Dividends is paid out based on the holdings in the ETF.
If the company pays out dividends, you will receive dividends too.
I have invested in Lion-Phillip S-REIT ETF and also received dividends too from the REITS that the ETF invests in.
