Do you believe in cryptocurrency? Bitcoin has hit a yearly high today at 15,000 USD (and still climbing!). But I can't understand why people dare to invest in it. Isn't it super risky?

Invest if you have faith in it, do not if you do not. Invest a little if you fear you will get FOMO. This is coming from a standpoint of psychological expectations rather than a logical one. IF it goes up to $100,000, what would you do?

The truth of the matter is, like all other currencies, bitcoin is useless if there is no adoption. That is the fundamental law of currency. There is no value until someone else says there it.

Take a look at the American dollar note, "In God We Trust."

Markets are never rational, but they are eventually right at some point in time. So if bitcoin is accepted widely, hard to argue that the value is zero.
