Great question. In a talk conducted by BIGScribe in 2016, I gave my assessment of the outlook for 2017. I said the markets are vey extended as this is above the average duration of bull market. The year of "7" historically have a negative bias.

So we should be cautious. Obviously those listen to my advice in 2016 must be viewing me very negatively at end 2017!
