Do I need to appoint an auditor for my SME?

ACRA has an audit exemption in singapore for small companies. If you're exempted, you don't need to appoint an auditor.

Audit exemption criteria to qualify:

• <$10 million annual revenue

• <$10 million assets

• <50 employees

If your SME doesn't meet the criteria above, then you'll have to name an auditor. But the majority of SMEs in Singapore will qualify as the criteria are rather generous.
