Singapore banks can buy for long term

Have you invested into safer investments like money market funds, T bills, SSB? You are diversify with equities but not bonds or safer assets?

Investing in a more diversified portfolio is generally a good, instead of putting everything into equity investments, especially as you approach retirement. The AGGU fund is an all-in-one global aggregate bond ETF that could help balance out your current equity-heavy portfolio.

Investing an additional $500 in AGGU seems reasonable, as it represents a small portion of your overall $500 monthly investments. This should help diversify your holdings and reduce overall portfolio risk as you get closer to retirement.

However, I would caution against making drastic changes to your existing DCA strategy, as it seems to be working well so far. Consistency is important when building long-term wealth.

It's also beneficial to have some cash on hand for emergencies, and to invest in lower-risk options like the Singapore Savings Bonds (SSB), especially since the interest rates look to remain high in the near future

Would prefer a fixed interest govt bond to cater for price increases if rates cut rather than a broa...
