Dealing with Rejections...

Sometimes you may be rejected for something that's not meant for you for a company that suits you more

Need to build our mental fortitude and resilience ...

By constantly improving oneselves and staying resilence. The one who is patient and determined + eager (energy) wins the waiting game.

Actually, I can tell u all generations experienced difficulties in getting hired, maybe some with less resistance (becoz of looks/acted well at interviews - these attributes do not last). My generation was during the SARS period, nobody wanted fresh grad, everyone said we had no experience and for me, job agencies (a thing then) said I am inferior compared to my peers.

Yet, I refused to give up after blows after blows. My parents are just primary sch education, none of my relatives know how to help and i had no network.

​

All my ex-bosses tried to retain me when I tendered resignation proving my worth (competence lasts). So my advice is don't give up, work doubly hard (dun slack) when others give up/slack, your opportunity comes - be ready for it. I always thank my younger self for not giving up at all.
