Currently, my spouse and i have a take home combined income of 14k~ Is it realistic for us to survive on just 1 income if my spouse is raking in avg 5 digits.

We don't own a car, no kids, but will have a home in a couple of years' time

You may end up unable to retire because that amount is not a lot and the spouse cannot have any CPF to fall back on when the working spouse retire.

It depends on lifestyle but it is not impossible.

I think that's very comfortable especially without a car. If kids are in the horizon, then might need to plan and save for the costs and KIV getting a car to ferry the little one around
