Basically this field is still in the infancy stage, hence it is highly speculative, but there is legit fundamentals behind BTC as well. I would recommend diversifying a small portion of your portfolio into crypto or BTC as it will be a good hedge against the current undertainty, but bear in mind it is highly volatile - so do not panic when the price sway too drastically. Treat it as a mid to long-term investment.

Would advise you not to touch on cryptos at all unless you have spare money to play with. You can try out a udemy course (cheap) or just youtube it. There's a plethora of videos about crypto on youtube that is sufficient to give you an overview or short on-the-surface courses. However, keep in mind that trading crypto well requires a high level of knowledge and experience. So, trade at your own risk!​​​
