I have been trying to do some research on whether I could get miles for pregnancy costs (e.g. delivery costs, checkups etc). I found this moneysmart article which recommends Citi Rewards (https://blog.moneysmart.sg/credit-cards/best-cr...) but based on this seedly q&a (https://seedly.sg/questions/do-i-get-miles-if-i...) it seems that hospital bills are excluded.
Does anyone know for sure :) ?

Hospital bills are generally excluded from spending - except for AMEX KF cards IIRC. However for now I still use Grabpay Mastercard (topped up using DBS Altitude) for any hospital bills, despite its more mediorcre earn rate now...something is better than nothing I guess? Hope it helps

Hi! Understanding whether or not a credit card will reward hospital bills can be tricky, especially because the terms and conditions often aren't very transparent. For the most part, credit cards do not reward medical paymentsâthis exclusion is listed as "government services" as most hospitals and polyclinics actually fall into this category. However, there are a few options that currently reward medical transactions. Here's a quick overview:
Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashbackâ1.5% rebate on all spend, great for big hospital bills since it's uncapped
American Express True CashbackâAlso 1.5% unlimited, but offers an upfront boost to 3% for the 1st 6 months (so a great fit if you're already a few months into your pregnancy)
HSBC RevolutionâUp to 2 miles/S$1 on online bill pay, including insurance
CIMB Platinum MasterCardâNo-fee and rewards all medical spend, but cashback on hospital bills is capped after S$200 spend, at S$20/month (so might be a good complementary card for ancillary expenses)
