Chinese professionals across HK face a tax rate as high as 45%, compared to the previous 15%. Comparing the tax rate between Singapore and China, shouldn't we be grateful for our current tax rate?

Many of these Chinese professionals in Hong Kong are therefore considering to return to mainland China.

Of course. Human nature to keep comparing. Although we are fortunate with how we are, we still want better. In a sense, it allows us to improve (though the motivation is negative).
