33YO with 6k job but with no career direction. Idk what I want yet but don't really like what I'm doing for the past 7 years. Is it wiser to stay in this job which I have no drive for and dreaded the work where the return is only a good income, or be daring to try for career industry switch with 3k pay? Worried I might not like it too even after trying out.

Hi... if you dread the work and has no drive in the job, how many more years can you endure? Iβm of the opinion to try for the switch if your finances allow. You never try, you never know.
Good luck π

That is always the consideration especially when practically comes into play. Good to save up your warchest in the meantime so that you have more options in time to come when you are more sure about your direction.
6k all the way "hentakaki" all the way also can allow a quicker path to financial freedom as compared to starting from scratch at 3k.
The other question then is the longevity of the job that you are doing. How long can you work in both careers?

Useful to look at it from a couple of different perspectives. Here's Herzberg's theory:
Hygiene Factors
Is the environment toxic with painful administrative/HR policies?
Is your line manager micro-managing?
Are you in constant fear of job loss?
Noted that your job is meaningless
Motivation factors
Is there opportunities for growth and achievement here? You may not like where you are, but perhaps you will like where you will be promoted to?
Is 6k a good salary/compensation versus the market? for your skills and credentials? Is your current company already paying you market rate? βββ
